An exciting Opportunity has arisen for an experienced building contracts manager to join Bradford Estates – an ambitious, expanding and diversified landed estates business, covering some 12,000 acres of land predominantly on the Shropshire / Staffordshire border.

The Estates comprise an extensive commercial and residential portfolio, a number of left farms, 4500 acres off in-hand farmland and woodland and a variety of wider property interests. The Estates are also pursing a new settlement proposal around J3 of the M54, aimed at being zero carbon.

The business is recruiting an experienced and suitably qualified building and contracts Manager to oversee all building matters, to lead an effective and efficient building team and to manage external contractors to ensure that building services are delivered across the Estates to the highest of standards, in line with financial, quality and aesthetic targets. This new position offers a long-term opportunity for someone with a desire to develop within the role and within a progressive and forward-thinking business. The applicant needs to be well motivated, enthusiastic and meticulous in their work, with excellent people skills. The candidate sho9uld have strong building and construction experience and with a proven track record of leading a team.
