You will be highly skilled in product soldering to the relevant IPC standard ensuring quality workmanship at all times.
- You must be confident carrying out hand soldering to small electronic components and producing multiple batches of the same product.
- A current IPC certification would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of electronic materials, crimp tools and cut and strip machinery
The Ideal Person will have experience of production within an electronics environment, able to follow customer drawings, and a great attitude to join an existing established team who get results.

As a Cable Assembler you will be expected to perform bench or line assembly operations using approved company process documentation / equipment to produce electrical cabling products.
Key responsibilities will include:
Soldering to a high level
Read instructions such as process details, diagrams, customer drawings
Prepare cut cable.
Build cable assemblies using hand tools, strippers, and crimp tooling as required.
Adhere to principles of AS9100
Wiring (i.e. anchoring, tie-wrapping, routing, flagging, and wire tagging)
Use various hand tools to remove cable jacket, filler, shielding and to apply any parts that are called for in process documentation.
The ideal candidate must have must have experience manufacturing cable assemblies / wire harnesses and soldering experience.
